I started watching anime circa 2015. Black Butler was my first, and it will always have a special place in my heart.
Shortly after, I started reading manga! The Legend of Zelda mangas were my introduction and I found that I really enjoyed graphic novels in general after reading them!
I borrow most of my manga from friends or the library! You should totally check out what your public library has, it might be more than you think!

Possibly my favourite way to get into an anime: find a friend who has seen it and have them ramble at me for hours about it. 100% reccomend. The truth is I don't have time to watch every anime ever, but there are some I want to know the plot of and what better way to learn about them than find someone who is passionate about them?
